“ARMCHAIR ADVENTURE” TRAVELERS
Meets 1st Friday of the month, 7:30 pm. For the 2020-2021 year, the armchair adventure travelers will meet on Zoom (hosted by the Terraces of Los Gatos). Please contact JoAn Lambert for the Zoom link.

BOOK REVIEW – AM

COMMITTEE ON HOMELESS WOMEN & CHILDREN
Meets 2nd Tuesday of the month at 3:30pm. Work on behalf of homeless families in Santa Clara County. Study their needs, raise funds to help support shelter programs and emergency aid. CONVERSATION IN SPANISH
Meets 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month, 3:00-4:30pm on Zoom.
For those who have completed some study in Spanish, to maintain skill. Open to new members who wish to maintain and improve Spanish skills.

FILM BUFFS
Meets last Tuesday of the month, 7 pm in members’ homes.
Two movies or two videos are viewed by each member during the month and reviewed at the meeting. Check with chair for openings.

GREAT DECISIONS
Three sessions available in afternoon. All sessions are 8-weeks and begin 1st Thursday in February. (See Grapevine for details.)
Discussions of US foreign policy. Each session begins with a video presentation followed by a moderated discussion. Sign up is in October & November. All interested members welcome!

HIKES AND WALKS
There are two types of hikes. Our “Scenic Locations” hikes meet the 2nd Thursday of the month 9 am promptly for 12 months a year. These are easy to moderate 4 to 6 mile hikes. Our “Back By Noon” hikes meet every 4th Thursday of the month. These are more spontaneous hikes where we pick a nearby location for some quick exercise on local trails with less than a half-hour drive. Meets 2nd Saturday every other month, in members’ homes. (Dates & times noted in Grapevine.) Members plan a menu of fine food & drink, host & enjoy a pastime with good company for a sit-down dinner with 12 to 14 people.Accepting new members.
