19 Friday Armchair Adventure Travels – GORILLAS AND CHIMPS OF UGANDA – Presented by Nature photographer Scott Davis , the new owner of Cheeseman’s Ecology Safaris. Meets via Zoom 7:30 PM.
Scott will enchant us with tales from his journeys to Uganda where where he has led trips observing gorillas and chimpanzees. Hear accounts of adventures through the dense mountainous jungles, observing behaviors and reminiscent of the work by iconic primatologists Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey. We’ll hear capi]tivating stories of close encounters with chimpanzee families and the awe-inspiring moments of witnessing their daily routines or of trekking through the Bwindi impenetrable Forest to find the elusive mountain gorillas, observing their gentle nature as they navigate their leafy mountain domain.
